Slewing bearings have undergone strict inspection and trial operation before leaving the factory, and are all qualified products. Therefore, if retention is found, the following methods can be used to eliminate it.
(1) The idling of newly purchased products is inflexible. Please check the production date of the slewing bearing. If the time is longer (such as more than half a year) and the climate is cold, the grease in the raceway may be more viscous and cause poor operation (more prominent in cold areas and winter). Method of exclusion:
If it can operate after adding force and there are no other abnormalities, it can be used normally; if there is abnormal noise, check whether there is any serious trauma during transportation, and feed the information back to our company's sales service department for processing.
(2) The operation is not flexible after installation. It may be that the mounting surface of the host machine and the mounting surface of the slewing bearing do not match well, resulting in the axial clearance of the slewing bearing being unable to compensate for the deformation of the slewing bearing after installation. The slewing bearing is in a negative clearance state, and the rolling elements have difficulty operating in the raceway (sometimes accompanied by abnormality). (noise); or the large and small gears are not meshed properly; or there are foreign objects stuck in the large and small gears. Troubleshooting:
Re-process the installation plane of the main unit to make it meet the requirements; or use the gasket filling method.
Re-adjust the large and small gear meshing backlash as required, paying special attention to the maximum position of the gear runout.
Check to ensure that there are no foreign objects in the meshing position of the large and small gears.
Replace with a slewing bearing with a slightly larger clearance.
(3) Inflexible operation during use
Lack of grease, fill it as required
The sealing strip is damaged, causing foreign matter to enter the raceway (such as poor operating conditions, dust intrusion into the raceway, etc.).
Check the meshing condition of the large and small gears to see if there are foreign objects or broken teeth. If the slewing bearing still cannot rotate after taking the above measures, there may be a fault in the raceway. Please inform our company's after-sales service department for processing.
