Single row angular contact ball bearings

Single row angular contact ball bearings are non-separable bearings, including: solid inner and outer rings, balls and cage components. The cage is made of nylon, stamped steel plate or brass. The raceways of the inner and outer rings are offset from each other along the axial direction of the bearing. Bearings are available in open and sealed designs. They have very limited angle adjustment capabilities.

Angular contact ball bearings in many sizes are designed by X-life. These bearings are shown in the dimension tables. X-life quality bearings have an improved raceway shape and optimized surfaces. This significantly increases the bearing's fatigue limit load. In the revised service life calculation, the service life value increased by more than 50%. Therefore, smaller bearings can be used if necessary in specific applications.

Single row angular contact ball bearings can withstand unidirectional axial force and large radial force. It must be axially adjustable relative to the other adjacent mirror-mounted bearing. The axial load carrying capacity depends on the contact angle. That is, the greater the contact angle, the greater the axial load the bearing can bear. Due to their 40° contact angle, angular contact ball bearings can support large axial loads.

The suffix 2RS indicates that the bearing has lip seals on both sides. RS contact seals protect against dust, contaminants and moisture.

Sealed bearings are lubricated with high-quality grease that meets the lubrication requirements for the bearing's operating life. Unsealed bearings or bearings sealed on only one side are not initially filled with grease. They can be grease or oil lubricated.
