Structural features and series of turntable bearings

As an important component of machine tools, the turntable has always been the focus of machine tool design. As a key component for carrying workpieces, the turntable's rotation accuracy, rigidity and composite load-bearing capacity directly affect the processing performance of the machine tool. Among them, the selection of bearings plays a direct and decisive role. The traditional solution for turntable bearings generally uses two or more sets of radial and thrust bearings in combination, in order to enable the turntable to simultaneously withstand axial loads, radial loads and overturning moments. Although this solution is mature, it also has disadvantages such as complex turntable structure design and inconvenient bearing installation and maintenance.

HRTG series high-precision turntable bearings break through the traditional bearing selection and arrangement. A set of bearings can meet the requirements of the turntable to withstand combined loads, greatly simplifying the structure of the turntable and reducing the cost of design, installation and maintenance. The combination of a set of radial rollers, two rows of axial thrust rollers, and a retainer assembly makes the structure compact, saving space for the overall structural design of the turntable; the bearings are arranged with mounting holes, which are extremely convenient to install; the bearings are preloaded before leaving the factory, and high rigidity and high rotation accuracy can be achieved without adjusting the clearance; the inner and outer rings of the bearings are equipped with oil filling holes, which are convenient for regular oil filling and maintenance. The rotation accuracy of HRTG turntable bearings can reach up to 1um, which is much higher than that of ordinary bearings.

Thanks to our rich production lines, in addition to the HRTG standard series suitable for low-speed and short-cycle applications, we also have corresponding products and solutions for more diverse applications. The HRTGS high-speed series can be used in low-friction torque and relatively high-speed applications, and is suitable for bearing selection in direct-drive motor turntables and double swing heads. The HKLDF-B thrust angular contact ball series has extremely high speed, extremely low friction torque, and can also withstand combined loads. It is suitable for high-speed rotary tables, vertical grinders, and measurement and control fields in turning and milling machining centers. HRTGM series with integrated angle measurement system realizes the integration of precision rotation and precise angle control of the turntable through the modular design of the integrated angle measurement system, simplifies the shaft system structure, and is suitable for occasions such as CNC rotary tables and indexing tables in machining centers. The angle measurement accuracy can reach ±1 arc second.

HRTG standard series

The thrust-centripetal combined structure can simultaneously withstand bidirectional axial loads, radial loads and overturning moments. The bearings are evenly distributed with mounting holes, and the bearings can be directly fixed with bolts; the bearings are preloaded when leaving the factory, and no clearance adjustment is required for installation; this series is suitable for occasions with low speed, short operating cycle, and high rigidity and precision requirements, such as rotary tables, indexing heads, etc.

HRTGS high-speed series

The HRTGS series turntable bearings have the same external structural dimensions as the HRTG series turntable bearings, but their special internal structural design gives them a higher limit speed, and the friction is low and uniform over the entire speed range. Therefore, it is suitable for applications similar to the HRTG series but requiring lower friction and higher speeds, such as bearing applications for direct drive shafts, and is especially suitable for the selection of bearings in CNC turntable structures.

For higher precision requirements, this series can also provide higher axial and radial runout accuracy.

HKLDF-B thrust angular contact ball series

The thrust angular contact ball series can withstand combined loads, has extremely high speeds and extremely low friction torques, while ensuring high rotation accuracy. It is very suitable for applications with such requirements, such as high-speed rotary tables, milling, grinding, honing heads, and precision measurement and testing equipment, etc.

HRTM series with integrated angle measurement system

Based on the HRTG series, the angle measurement system is integrated to achieve accurate angle measurement, with the highest accuracy of ±1 arc second, which is very suitable for applications with high requirements for angle positioning accuracy.

Structural characteristics and application areas

The HRTG standard series, HRTGS high-speed series HKLDF-B thrust angular contact ball series and HRTGM integrated angle measurement system series all have high rotation accuracy, can withstand radial loads, bidirectional axial loads and overturning moments, and are suitable for high-precision and combined load-bearing occasions such as rotary tables, faceplates, milling heads and reversible fixtures. There are mounting holes on the bearing rings, which are very convenient to install. Axial and radial preload after installation ensures high precision and high rigidity. A full range of sizes facilitates the rational selection of turntables of different sizes; different series have the same installation and external dimensions, so you can choose the appropriate series according to different environmental requirements.

The operating temperature range of HRTG, HRTGS and HKLDF-B series turntable bearings is -30℃ to +120℃.
