Thrust bearings consist of shaft washers, seat washers, rolling elements and cage assemblies. The rolling elements are cylindrical rollers or balls and can only bear axial loads.
Thrust ball bearings consist of shaft washers, bottom washers, balls and cage assemblies. This type of bearing is a separable bearing, i.e. the ball and cage assemblies and washers can be installed separately.
Thrust cylindrical roller bearings consist of thrust cylindrical roller and cage assemblies, bottom washers and shaft washers. The bearings have a very small axial section height, high load capacity, high rigidity and can withstand axial forces in one direction.
