How to fix the inner and outer rings of bearings

There are many methods for positioning and fixing the inner and outer rings of rolling bearings. The following are some commonly used methods:

a) Use a shaft retaining ring embedded in the groove of the shaft, which is mainly used when the axial force is not large and the speed is not high;

b) Use a shaft end retaining ring fixed with screws to tighten, which can be used to withstand large axial forces at high speeds, and the screws should have anti-loosening measures;

c) Use round nuts and stop washers to tighten, which is mainly used in situations with high speeds and large axial forces;

d) Use tapered sleeves for positioning, stop washers and round nuts for tightening, which is used on smooth shafts and bearings with tapered inner rings.

e) Fasten with a hole-embedded elastic retaining ring in the groove of the housing, mainly used when the axial force is not large and the size of the bearing device needs to be reduced;

f) Fasten with a bearing end cover, used for various types of radial, thrust and radial thrust bearings with high speed and large axial force;

g) Fasten with a shaft elastic retaining ring embedded in the retaining groove of the bearing outer ring, used when it is inconvenient to set a convex shoulder on the housing;

h) Fasten with a threaded ring, used when the bearing has high speed and large axial force, and it is not suitable to fasten with a bearing end cover.

Axial fixation of the inner and outer rings of rolling bearings:

In order to prevent the bearing from axially moving relative to the shaft or seat hole when it is subjected to axial load, the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft, and the outer ring and the seat hole must be axially fixed. The commonly used axial fixation methods of the inner and outer rings of rolling bearings are as follows:
