Tips for using turntable bearings to keep your equipment looking like new!

The turntable bearing is a special bearing with high precision, high rigidity and high load capacity. It is mainly composed of inner ring, outer ring, cage and rolling element. The structural design of the turntable bearing is very special. The angle between the inner ring and the outer ring can be adjusted, so that it can adapt to different working requirements. At the same time, the rolling element of the turntable bearing is made of low-friction material, with high speed and self-lubricating performance, so it can withstand high loads while rotating at high speed

The joints of the inner ring or outer ring of the turntable bearing may deviate slightly. Before we install the bearing into the bearing seat, we need to loosen the bolts that fix the inner ring or outer ring, and then use a plastic hammer to correct it before installing it, so that the bearing and the bearing seat fit perfectly.

When we install or remove the turntable bearing, do not apply external force to the connecting bolts to prevent damage to the bearing.

When installing the bearing, we also need to pay attention to the dimensional tolerance of the bearing and the installation parts, so that the side clamping flange can firmly press the inner ring or outer ring from the side.

The turntable bearing needs to maintain sufficient preload, so under working conditions, the bolt preload needs to be checked once every operating hour, and then checked once every operating hour. The bolts should be replaced every year or after working hours.

When the bearing is used in dusty and humid areas, it is necessary to perform regular inspections and lubrication according to the specific usage conditions. The bearing should be replaced with new grease before and after a long period of stoppage. When lubricating the bearing, the raceway must be filled with grease every time, and then the bearing must be slowly rotated to allow the bearing to be fully and evenly filled.
